Hello APC Rangers and friends!! The annual Austin Page College Mates Ball is quickly approaching and we encourage you to buy tickets sooner rather than later, not only will it secure you a ticket to arguably the best weekend in the college calendar, get you exclusive 2026 Mates Ball Merch, and drinks tickets, it will also save you $$$ if you purchase your ticket before 17th August.    When? 4-6th September Who? APC Rangers and two of ur best friends  The Plan? FRIYAY: WOONA GRANDFINAL LFG then we have an epic pub night at the Whitebull, buses from APC at 7:30ish  SATURDAY: RUGBY at bellevue THEN we will all dress up in our schmickest clothes (not optional) and trek it on busses to the WELDERS DOG BREWERY (cocktail attire) at 7:30pm to dance the night away and potentially consume a safe number of bevraginos before we catch busses back to college. SUNDAY: A CHEEKY breakfast cooked by the wonderful JCR   What is included in the ticket?  - Transport to and from Rhyme without Reason event at Whitebull - Transport to and from Austin Page Mates Ball 2026 @ Welders Dog Brewery  - Drinks tickets x2 at Welders Dog Brewery  - Nibbles throughout both events  - Exclusive Mates Ball 2026 merch  - Recovery breakfast on Sunday morning cooked by none other than the APC JCR    ****ALL GUESTS MUST BE 18; THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COME IF THEY ARE UNDER 18****   You are allowed to bring x2 friends; unfortunately, there will not be any rooms allowed to be opened, so they will need to book accommodation off campus. Guests will need to write their APC resident's name in the 'details' section - if the guest doesn't put a resident's name, we will either contact them or refund the ticket. If you have any questions, please contact our amazing JCR President, Hamish Seddon!!!! Once you have bought a ticket PLEASE join the facebook group, we will post updates of busses, event timetables and photos here.  2026 APC Mates Ball Facebook Group Payment plans are not permitted for guests.  Residents of APC must pay a 50% deposit and be completely paid off by the 3rd of September. Failure to pay this off will result in a cancellation of the ticket.

For Black light get a plain white t-shirt and find some coloured markers and go crazy!! Drawing cute APPROPRIATE things on you and your friends shirts and then in the LCR some paint will be added and then when we head to the Small LCR you’ll be glowing and ready to dance the night away.  There will be food throughout the night as always, as well as a recovery breakfast on Friday!

This week is a ticketed event! You can choose to buy tickets for the individual event or get the week pass, which will give you access to all events and activities throughout the week!  Welcome BBQ: We will have a welcome back to college BBQ with a gold coin donation  Noona & Nibbles: Noona and some nibbles for a gold coin donation  Tues2Study & AGM: We will have Tues2Study as normal, during this we will have the JCR AGM!  Fresher Wedding: This is the event that your lovely fresher reps have put together!  Trivia: This event is created by the wonderful JCR and will be full of trivia about the leadership teams (RL, JCR, Charities & general residents). It will be a gold coin donation, and there will be prizes up for grabs!  Oktoberfest:  This is an event you can invite friends to, you need to ensure they purchase a guest ticket and if they are staying at college you need inform the RL.  - 2x drinks ticket  - Food throughout the night  - Unique and never done before merch... (beer stein)  - Recovery breakfast (next morning) Recovery breakfast & Floor Bonding: There will be a recovery breakfast at 10am (ish) and then floor bonding (time is up to the discretion of the floor RL) Charities Event: Movie night at 6:30pm in the LCR!

When: Saturday, the 9th of May Where: LCR @ APC  Theme:  Everyone has something that gets them every time. For this event, come dressed as your personal kryptonite — the thing that breaks your willpower, steals your focus, or you just can’t quit. It could be a guilty pleasure, a bad habit, a toxic trait, a person, a state of mind, or a simple obsession. Interpret it however you like — clever, subtle, chaotic, or iconic. Who: APC residents, guests, and affiliates!  What is included:  - Entry - 2x Drinks tickets (can use for any drinks at the bar)  - Limited edition LCR Merch  - Food (nibbles throughout the event)
